The Ahilik Museum is in the centre of Kırşehir, inside the Ahi Evran complex built around the mosque and tomb of Ahi Evran, at Ahievran. It opened to visitors in 2023.
Ahilik was the guild organisation of medieval Anatolia, binding craft, trade and conduct together, and the museum traces the history of the trades from the 1200s onward while staging the rituals of the organisation itself. Objects, everyday things, costume and manuscripts relating to Ahi Evran-i Veli, to the organisation and to the trades are displayed, in a design that the ministry describes as setting technology alongside tradition.
