This two-storey masonry building stands at the corner of Sinan Dede Caddesi and Zafer Sokak in the Cemaliye quarter of Çorlu. It was built in 1905 and used as a synagogue until the middle of the twentieth century, then converted into a mosque in 1970.
The stepped pediments rising on the north and south fronts give the building a monumental bearing, and octagonal colonnettes are attached to the building at the corners of the facades. The ceiling and floor are wooden, and there are eighteen rectangular window openings on the facades. You enter from the north through an iron door; the mihrab and minbar are at the south end. The thing to look up at is the ceiling, with its geometric and plant ornament painted in pastel colours. The building is close to the Thursday market in Çorlu and within walking distance of the town centre.
