Kırşehir is rich in thermal sources, and among its principal spas are Terme, Karakurt, Bulamacli and Mahmutlu. Terme is one of the province's most important geothermal fields and lies within the city itself, which makes it the easiest to reach.
The geothermal field at Terme is used for thermal tourism, for greenhouse growing and for heating the city. The provincial governor's office reports that physical, chemical and biological analyses and medical assessments have found the water beneficial in various conditions. There are tourist facilities set up to serve visitors who come for the waters. The spa is on Şehit Coskun Taş Caddesi in the Guldiken quarter.
