Mavikent Tabiat Parkı lies in the Yenice quarter of the Kumluca district of Antalya, on the western side of the Gulf of Antalya, and was declared in June 2009. Its area is given as 42 hectares in the Directorate's record and 42.5 in its text.
The park is coastal, and its greenery comes from Cyprus acacia, stone pine and eucalyptus. Fourteen reptile, 117 bird and 12 mammal species have been recorded here from fieldwork and the published literature.
Inside the park is a sea turtle nesting beach. The Kumluca nesting beach, one of the most important loggerhead nesting beaches in the Mediterranean, runs 14 kilometres in all, and about a kilometre of it falls within this park.
Facilities are a tourism facility area and the beach itself, with a stated capacity of 200 visitors. Picnicking here is permitted only without fire. The park is 125 kilometres from Antalya and 15 from the centre of Kumluca.
