The Circassian museum at Uzuntarla, in Kartepe, covers the culture from several directions at once: the kitchen and its dishes, the implements of ordinary daily life, traditional dress, and the history of the Circassian exile that brought the community to Anatolia.
It was opened by Kartepe Municipality on 11 May 2026, and the municipality describes it as the first official Circassian museum in Türkiye and as the second private museum in the district.
