Hızır Bey Camii is in the centre of Kozluk in Batman, and the provincial directorate calls it the largest mosque in the district.
Its inscription is the source of its date: it states that the mosque was built in 1512 by Hızır Bey, son of Ebubekir Roşkin, bey of Sason and Hezo — the older name for Kozluk.
