Dibek Tabiatı Koruma Alanı covers 560 hectares, declared on 13 September 2002 within the boundaries of the Sarıkaya wildlife reserve in Antalya. Before anything else: entry to and exit from the area is forbidden under its protection status, and it can be entered only with special permission granted for educational purposes.
What the designation protects is natural old-growth cedar forest. Among the animals living inside the protected area are wild goat, brown hare, wild boar, fox, Anatolian squirrel, lynx, wolf and caracal, with chukar and long-legged buzzard among the birds.
