The best-known entries are Kız Kalesi, Mamure castle, Silifke castle and the Alahan monastery.
The western end is Kelenderis at Aydıncık; Silifke has the Atatürk house and ethnography museum; in the city the archaeological museum and the Refah martyrs monument stand close together; and Namrun castle is inland to the north at Çamlıyayla.
Writing this corrected three place types: Alahan was recorded as an archaeological site rather than a monastery, and Mamure and Kız Kalesi as archaeological sites rather than castles. Çamlıyayla also holds two monument trees, Kocakatran and Ana Ardıç, which are not on this route. What each place is, and who says so, is on its own page.
