The site around the Gilindire cave was first declared a natural monument in August 2013, and in June 2021 its status was changed to a nature park. It covers 107 hectares in the Aydıncık district of Mersin, with the Mediterranean to its south.
It is 7.5 kilometres east of Aydıncık; from Mersin, take the road towards Aydıncık for about 106 kilometres and then the Aydıncık turning for a further 7.5. Opening hours are 08:00 to 19:30, with capacity for 250 visitors and 200 vehicles.
