The Sırçalı Kümbet stands in the Hunat quarter of Melikgazi, Kayseri. Its inscription has not survived, and it is thought to belong to Cafer Bey, father of Alaeddin Eretna, and to have been built in the second quarter of the fourteenth century.
The tomb rests on a wide square base and holds a round prayer room or cenotaph chamber above it. The entrance on the north side is reached by a pair of facing stairs to its landing, and the main door is plain and orderly. In the construction of its base it resembles the Cafer Ali tomb. Outside, the tomb is a cylinder worked in very regular cut stone, and the arrangement and workmanship of the mouldings on the door and on the frames of the outer windows are the evidence of the building's quality. It stands within the grounds of the industrial vocational high school on Mustafa Kemal Paşa Bulvarı.
