Adana's Cinema Museum opened on 23 September 2011 inside an old Adana house in the Kayalıbağ neighbourhood of Seyhan, on the west side of the Seyhan River. The museum plays host to the Golden Boll (Altın Koza), one of Türkiye's major film festivals.
The ground floor is hung with film posters, chosen so that each one carries at least one name, whether director, actor or screenwriter, that Adana gave to Turkish cinema. The education ministry's page suggests arriving early in the morning, when it is shadier and cooler, and notes that queues can form at weekends and during the festival.
