Tepebağ mound is the oldest settlement in Adana, and the Ottoman houses known as the Tepebağ houses stand on it alongside the ancient remains.
One find from the mound is not here: the figurine of the lady Sitsnefru, of the Twelfth Dynasty of the Egyptian Middle Kingdom, around 1900 BC, was found at Tepebağ and is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The houses are in the Tepebağ quarter of Seyhan.
