Sinekli is 33 kilometres from Düzce, reached by way of Beyköy, Uğur, Samandere village and the Samandere waterfall natural monument, or alternatively along the Abant road.
It stands at 1,450 metres and covers a hundred dönüm. The Sinekli plateau festival held each July has become a fixture and is well attended.
Sinekli, Kütüklü and Sakarca lie north of the Abant Lake national park, on the boundary between Bolu and Düzce, around Kızılkaya hill, one to three kilometres apart from one another.
