The Aydınpınar falls lie south of the village of the same name in the central district of Düzce, and the provincial directorate calls them one of the finest examples of their kind in the country.
The reason for their protection is set out plainly: to manage the use of the site more sustainably and protect the natural assets more effectively, 100 hectares covering the falls and the ground immediately around them were declared a nature park on 25 August 2014. The main approach is from the D100 road from Sakarya and Düzce. It is open 08:00 to 20:00, with capacity for 6,000 visitors, 65 vehicles and 40 tents.
