The third of the numbered junipers at Kayı village is estimated at 645 years and stands 11.5 metres tall. It is not the youngest of the protected trees in the village: a fourth juniper, registered simply as Kayı Ardıcı, is given as 520 years. All four were registered together on 4 April 2001 and stand in the same village on the same road, so anyone going to see one will find the others.
Every monument-tree page the Eskişehir directorate publishes gives the trunk diameter as exactly 1.30 metres — this juniper, its two neighbours, both of the province's protected oaks and the hazel at Karageyikli alike, whatever their species, age or height. A figure repeated identically across trees that differ in every other respect is not a measurement of any one of them, so it should not be relied on.
This tree's plot is 0.01 hectares. Its general appearance is recorded as well-formed, and it grows on mid-slope ground under the inner Anatolian climate. Capacity is 20 visitors and one vehicle, with hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
