Kocabey lies 15 kilometres from the Şavşat district, within the bounds of the Sahara Karagöl national park, and the winter houses there are known for their particular timber architecture.
Camping and caravanning are possible on the site. The Sahara beet festival is held in this district in the last week of July every year. Any vehicle can reach it.
