The Kızılcaelmalı oak is the slenderer of the two protected oaks in Sinop province: 1.19 metres in trunk diameter and 3.75 metres in girth, against 1.59 and 5.00 for the Görkemli oak. It also stands lower, at 750 metres rather than 900. In age and height the two are recorded identically, both at 350 years and 25 metres.
It is a sessile oak, in Sansar village in Ayancık district. No declaration date appears anywhere on its page. The inventory spells the name Kızılca Elmalı and the directorate Kızılcaelmalı.
Capacity is 250 visitors and 25 vehicles, with hours of 08:00 to 20:00, and the site is managed directly by the administration.
