Karagöl is a small lake — one hectare — but a deep one, entirely surrounded by forest, and there are bungalows on its shore for those who want to stay.
It lies 18 kilometres south of the Kıbrısçık district on the Beypazarı road; Kıbrısçık is 62 kilometres south of Bolu, which puts the lake about 80 kilometres from the provincial centre.
