Beşpınarlar has room for 2,000 visitors and four vehicles. That pair of numbers is the practical fact about it: the park is 30 kilometres south of Bolu in the Aladağlar, on the Kızık plateau, and it is not a place to arrive at by car in numbers.
The site, 26.89 hectares, had its picnic-ground status cancelled and was turned into a nature park on 11 July 2011. Lower down the same range, at Karacasu, lies the Gölcük nature park. From the centre of Bolu, follow Akıncı Sokak and then Kaplıca Caddesi south towards the Bolu-Kıbrısçık road and the signs. It is open 09:00 to 18:00, with room for 15 tents.
