Derik Gap Şelalesi Tabiat Parkı was declared on 17 November 2017 and covers about 52.78 hectares at the Küçükpınar locality in the Derik district of Mardin. It takes its name from the waterfall inside it.
The landscape is steppe. Middle-aged and old oaks grow on the mountain slopes and olive groves fill the valleys, with shrubs and bushes in places; Lebanon oak, walnut and olive are the trees named. The animals observed are fox, woodpecker, goldfinch, magpie, sparrow, quail, squirrel and lizards.
The park has shelters, lavatories, a shop, a children's playground, a country restaurant and a viewpoint, and its day-use areas are set up for picnics; open-air events and concerts are held here, and there are forest paths for walking. Stated capacity is 60 visitors and 20 vehicles.
The site is about 4 kilometres south-east of the centre of Derik. From Mardin or Kızıltepe, take a Derik vehicle towards Kızıltepe and Şanlıurfa; from Diyarbakır, Çınar or Mazıdağı, take one on the Diyarbakır–Mardin road. From the town centre the last stretch is by taxi.
