Elmasburnu Nature Park is a beach park on the Black Sea coast at Riva, in Beykoz district of İstanbul. It was declared on 11 July 2011 and covers about 13.34 hectares, where dune and forest ecosystems meet under mainly maquis vegetation. One warning comes with it: the directorate tells visitors to watch out for the high rocks.
Elmasburnu beach, inside the park, is one of three at Riva. There are changing cabins and showers at the beach, and water sports as well as swimming. The park also has picnic grounds, a tent camping area, areas suitable for staying overnight, a country restaurant, a kiosk, toilets, day-use grounds and picnic units. Capacity is 2,500 visitors and 194 vehicles, with hours of 09:00 to 19:00. Beykoz Municipality holds the concession, and the directorate suggests Riva castle as somewhere else to see.
The vegetation is conifers and maquis together: red and maritime pine with Hungarian, sessile, Türkiye and pedunculate oak, and beneath them tree heath, green olive tree, strawberry tree, Spanish broom, hairy rock rose and bay laurel. Deer, roe deer, jackal, fox, squirrel, hedgehog, wild boar, lizards and tortoises are recorded, along with magpie, sparrow, sparrowhawk and buzzard. Riva and its surroundings lie on the Bosphorus bird migration route.
The park is reached from the TEM motorway by the road that runs from Kavacık to Riva.
