Neither the date this mosque was built nor its architect is known, and the source leaves a gap it does not close. Two views are given about who had it raised: that it was built in the name of Devlet, the middle son of the Anatolian Seljuk sultan Mesud I, or that it was built by Devlet Hatun, sister of one of the Seljuk rulers. The building itself is dated in the same text to the fifteenth or sixteenth century.
It is built of reused stone and has the façade character of the beylik period. Three rows of columns set crosswise divide it into four aisles, and it is covered by a hipped roof. The single minaret stands at the north-east corner; the mihrab and minbar are plain and undecorated. Repairs at various times have taken it away from its original state. It is in the centre of Yalvaç.
