Limenia is an island in Lake Hoyran, at Gaziri, 25 kilometres from Yalvaç. Getting there is the first thing to plan: it lies about three kilometres from the shore and can be reached only by fishing boat.
On the island are the remains of a temple of Artemis and a Byzantine circuit wall enclosing it completely. The island measures 250 by 400 metres, with a slight rise at its centre.
