Çorumi Mustafa Bey Mosque was built in 1687 by the man it is named for, in Hayrabolu, a district town of Tekirdağ. It is square in plan. Three of its walls are regular cut stone while the south wall uses alternating courses of cut stone and brick, and porticoes run along the east, north and west fronts. Inside there is a women's gallery; the minbar is marble and the floor and ceiling are wood. Look up at the southeast and southwest corners for the bird houses built into the walls — small stone birdhouses of the kind Ottoman builders set into mosque facades.
The graveyard on the south side holds headstones dated 1022 and 1053 in the Hijri calendar, which places them before the mosque itself was built. One detail to be aware of: the Ministry's description places the mosque in the Kahya quarter while the address on the same page gives Aydinevler; both are recorded here. Minibuses to Hayrabolu leave from the Tekirdağ bus station, and the mosque is a short walk from the town centre.
