The Ballık Köyü cedar, also called the Çatal cedar, was registered as a natural monument on 6 September 2002. It stands at the Ağıllıpınar locality near Ballık village in the Altınyayla district of Burdur, within a mixed forest of black pine and cedar.
The tree is a Lebanon cedar, 530 years old, 49 metres tall, 2.30 metres in diameter and 7.22 metres around — the tallest of the monument trees in this region.
The animals recorded in the area are wild boar, jackal, fox, hedgehog, martens and mole among mammals, with chukar, swift, sparrowhawk, common buzzard, blackbird, kestrel and peregrine among birds.
