The castle at Ambar village has its gateway cut out of the stone, and three rooms one within another behind it. On the upper part of the castle there are basins carved out of the rock.
Two minarets stand in the country around it, and there are remains of irrigation channels nearby. The source gives neither the period the castle belongs to nor its condition today. The village is in the central district of Tunceli.
