The old city on the ridge holds most of it: the Kasımiye medrese, the Abdüllatif mosque, the Ulu mosque and the Mardin Museum, all in Artuklu district, with the Deyrulzafaran monastery on the same list.
West of the city, the Dunaysır bridge at Kızıltepe is out on the plain; eastward the route runs towards Midyat, and the Mor Yakup monastery, Beyazsu and the Midyat state guest house complete it.
One note about our inventory rather than this route. A Mardin record called Yaşayan Müze had a Wikipedia link removed by hand in September, because the article described a general concept rather than this place, and no replacement source has been found for it; it is not on this list. What each place is, and who says so, is on its own page.
