Our compilation for Karabük, not an official route, and the ordering fails at exactly the place people come for. The record for the town of Safranbolu itself carries the longest source document on this route by far — over sixteen thousand characters — and has no coordinates in our inventory, so it sits unplaced at the end of the list, together with the clock tower and the coffee museum, which are also in Safranbolu.
Two Safranbolu stops did get placed: the İncekaya aqueduct and the Cinci caravanserai, about four kilometres apart. Those two and the unplaced ones in the town are one destination, not several.
Away from the town, the Şeker canyon at Yenice lies about 24 kilometres west, and the Bulak cave, also called Mencilis, is just north of Safranbolu.
