Çitdere nature conservation area lies south-west of Karabük, across the central, Yenice and Eskipazar districts, and was protected on 29 December 1987. Its size is given as 730 hectares in the data field and 730.5 in the text.
Neither way in is short. The first leaves the D300 towards Zonguldak at about its tenth kilometre and runs some 19 kilometres of village road south, through Şenler, then Sipahiler and Karaagaç, and on towards the Sorgun plateau; the second branches from the same highway further along.
