Our compilation for the Gallipoli peninsula, not an official itinerary. The stops are the places in our inventory that lie inside the battlefield area on the Eceabat side of the Dardanelles, and they are ordered the way the ground runs: from the village where the campaign was planned, up to the ridge, and back down to the water.
Bigalı stands inland to the east; the Conkbayırı monument and the 57th Regiment cemetery sit together on the high ground a few kilometres west of it, within about a kilometre and a half of each other. The promotion centre at Kabatepe and the historical site itself lie south, nearer the coast.
What this route cannot tell you is how long the driving takes. We have no road data, and a straight-line distance across a ridge is not a driving time — the peninsula's roads climb and turn. What each place is, when it was last checked and which source says so is on its own page.
