The park sits on high ground looking over Lake Beyşehir, which the provincial directorate describes as the largest freshwater lake in Türkiye and the third largest lake of any kind, and it lies within the Beyşehir Gölü national park, which the same source calls the second largest national park in the country.
It covers 88.5 hectares six kilometres from Beyşehir, on the Beyşehir-Derebucak road, and was declared a nature park on 11 July 2011. The whole site is forest vegetation. It closes at 17:30, with capacity for 500 visitors and 100 vehicles.
