The Yeni Meze Mosque stands in Uğurlu village, sixteen kilometres from Akçakoca in Düzce province. It was built in 1885 and is a good example of local stonework, with Ottoman inscriptions inside it. There is a well in its garden, and the grounds around it have been laid out so that the setting is quiet.
Getting there from İstanbul or Ankara means continuing 34 kilometres from Düzce towards Akçakoca, then a further sixteen kilometres from Akçakoca to the village.
