The Aktaş waterfall is in the village of the same name in the Akçakoca district of Düzce. The water drops about 50 metres, and the plant cover around it is what the provincial directorate points to as much as the fall itself.
It is also the end of one of the district's walking routes. The path begins at the Göktepe village turning on the Akçakoca ring road, runs ten kilometres, mostly along a stream, and is rated moderate; it continues through the Aktaş valley and finishes at the waterfall.
