Tek Tek Dağları was declared a national park on 21 June 2007, and it is managed by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks under the national parks law. The source gives its size twice and differently — 19,335 hectares in the text of the decree and 19.34 hectares in the data field — without reconciling them.
Opening hours are 09:00 to 17:00, and the capacity recorded is 165 visitors, 20 vehicles and 50 tents, so camping is provided for. Administrative responsibility for the park passed between ministries over the years, ending with the present directorate.
