Sis Dağı yayla lies where the boundaries of Giresun and Trabzon meet, forty kilometres inland from the coast at Görele. It spreads over a wide area on Ali Meydan, also called Sis Dağı, at 2,182 metres, and snow lies on the ground here until the beginning of July. It was declared a tourism centre in 2011.
The pasture is known for its yellow and purple flowers, and festivals are held on it in July, which is the time most people come. It is 93 kilometres from the city of Giresun, with no difficulty of access.
