Salördek is a village in the Pülümür district of Tunceli. Its name comes from a Turkmen-Yörük community living in the districts of Arapgir and Kemah. It stands at 1,770 metres and covers 10.8 square kilometres.
Local people call it the heart of nature, and what they mean shows in autumn, when the forests turn through shades of yellow, green and red.
The woods of Salördek and those in the area between this district and Nazımiye carry oak, walnut and poplar along with various wild fruit trees that grow there on their own, and they change with each season.
The portal counts the village among the best places in the country to see autumn. Visitors watch the range of colour across the woodland from the far hills first, then walk down among the trees.
