The Music Technologies Museum in Tekirdağ was set up by the municipality of Süleymanpaşa, which describes it as the first of its kind in Türkiye. It shows musical instruments both of the past and of the present, along with material explaining the stages by which instruments are made, so the making is as much the subject as the instruments themselves.
A considerable number of regional costumes are displayed alongside them. The museum is on Sefa Sokak in the Ertuğrul quarter, reached by the minibuses running from the bus station into the centre.
