The church on the Muzadere plateau is in a badly damaged state, and it is remote: it stands on the top of high, broken ground ten kilometres south of the township of Topçam, in the Mesudiye district of Ordu, and Mesudiye itself is 114 kilometres from Ordu.
What is left is rectangular in plan and single-naved, with a wide apse on the east front. It is thought to have been built in the middle of the nineteenth century.
