The tomb stands on a hill looking over Kumaşır Gölü, six kilometres south of central Kahramanmaraş in the Aksu quarter.
It is stated — rather than established by the provincial directorate itself — that the building was originally raised in 1201. What is there now has been laid out for visitors: a small mescit, the tomb chamber, and landscaping around them.
The 2023 earthquakes struck this province and the page does not record the building's present condition.
