The Latife Hanım Mansion Memorial House Museum stands in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir. Before planning a visit, note that it has been closed since it was damaged in the 2020 earthquake; the Ministry's page gives no date for reopening.
The house belonged to the family of Latife Hanım, the wife of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and its particular significance comes from being the place where Atatürk's mother Zübeyde Hanım spent her last days and died. It was restored faithfully to its original form and opened to visitors in 2008, and in 2016 it was registered as a private museum.
Inside are furnishings and objects of the period, together with wax figures of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his mother Zübeyde Hanım and his wife Latife Hanım. The address is Latife Hanım Mahallesi, Bahriye Üçok Blv. No:5, 35600 Karşıyaka, next to Karşıyaka station.
