Kilis Museum is an archaeological and ethnographic museum on Nemika Caddesi in Kilis, founded in 2012.
It occupies the Neşet Efendi mansion, built in 1927. The Ministry of Culture bought the building in 1979, and it served as the Kilis public library between 1986 and 2008. It opened as the Kilis Museum on 20 June 2012.
Kilis lies in a region rich in archaeological material; Oylum Höyük, six kilometres south-east of the town centre, is an important source of finds. The ground floor is the archaeological section: the first room shows Palaeolithic and Neolithic material, the second is given to the Early Bronze Age and the third to the Middle Bronze Age, while the main hall holds works of the Late Bronze Age, the Iron Age and the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods.
The upper floor is the ethnographic section. One of its six rooms is a Kilis guest room with classical furniture and mannequins representing three generations; another is a bedroom, and another a kitchen with copper vessels.
