The bridge was built of yellow cut stone with two arches in 1894–95, in the reign of Abdülhamid II. It is 28.5 metres long and 4.5 wide, and the arches are depressed.
Where the two arches meet, a cutwater stands on the pier on each face, semicircular in form with a conical top. The arch openings are about five metres. A parapet of interlocking cut stones runs along the bridge, and some of those stones have been seen to have fallen into the streambed.
At the middle of the west face, in the section above the cutwater, a gap shows where the bridge's inscription was; the inscription is no longer there. The bridge is otherwise sound.
