This aqueduct near Kabaoğlu in İzmit is a Roman work of the second century AD, about 50 metres long and 15 high, built in two storeys. The sources record that it was built by Pliny, governor of Nicomedia in the time of the emperor Trajan. It was used and repaired in the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods.
Getting there: take the surfaced road from Üçtepeler village towards Kabaoğlu, and at the edge of the village follow the dirt road that branches off to the left.
