Hisar Çamlığı Tabiat Parkı lies near Hisar village in Kilis and was declared a nature park on 5 July 2011 over 16.1 hectares; a ministerial decision of 12 March 2019 revised the boundary and raised it to 64. Calabrian pine is the dominant tree.
The Directorate names its geology and landforms, its landscape, and its plant and animal life as the reasons for protection. The trees are mostly middle-aged, with shrubs and bushes in places, and among the plants recorded alongside the pine are black cumin, oriental arborvitae, poppy, valerian, sheep's sorrel, mallow, barberry, tragacanth, pistachio, Christ's thorn, wild grape, clover and sainfoin. The animals observed include butterflies and damselflies, marsh frog, a slender snake, tortoise, lizards, mice and fox, along with jay, magpie, turtle dove, swallow, collared dove and starlings.
The facilities are counted out precisely: a country café, two prayer rooms and two lavatories, three shelters, 22 picnic tables, four barbecues, eight roofed picnic tables, a children's playground, an arched pergola and three fountains, with a stated capacity of 125 visitors and 35 vehicles. Walking is possible on the forest paths. The park is 40 kilometres from the centre of Kilis on asphalt road the whole way, reachable by bus or private vehicle.
