Handüzü nature park covers 444.7 hectares at Handüzü and Arapdüzü in the Güneysu district of Rize, declared on 2 December 2014.
Three roads reach it and they are not alike: the one most used runs north from Güneysu, about ten kilometres of concrete road; another comes from the north-west through Çamlica village, a forest road opened in 2015 and unsurfaced; the third climbs from the south over the Handüzü plateau. Among seed plants, 256 different taxa from 95 genera and 56 families have been recorded here. Opening hours run from 08:00 to midnight, with capacity for 1,000 visitors, 60 vehicles and 10 tents. The Rize-Artvin airport is 60 kilometres away.
