Haçka plateau lies at about 1,800 metres in the Zigana mountains, south of Düzköy in Trabzon province: 12 kilometres from Düzköy, 40 from Akçaabat and 52 from Trabzon. It takes its name from Haçka, the old name of Düzköy, and is also known as the Düzköy plateau. Kaynar Tepe rises to its east and Çoban Tepe to its south-west.
The land around is state forest — spruce and Scots pine lower down, alpine meadow higher up — and the plateau is one of the places campers and people who like being outdoors make for, particularly in summer. The tomb of Haçkali Baba and its mosque stand on the plateau.
