This park got smaller rather than larger: declared a nature park in July 2011 at about 17 hectares, its boundary was revised in December 2015 and the site redrawn at 8.8 hectares, all of it under forest regime. The data field on the same page still reads 16.94.
It lies at Kafran-Tasüstü in the Düzköy district of Trabzon, and was first registered as a B-type picnic ground in September 2003 for its biological diversity and its landscape. It is open 07:00 to 22:00, with capacity for 1,400 visitors and 20 vehicles.
