The inscription over the door of this mosque in Barla names Çeşnigir Sinan Paşa as the man who had it built, and gives the year 1376. Isparta and the country around it did not pass to Ottoman rule until six years later, which places the building just before that change.
Its side walls are masonry, the roof timber; the minaret is onion-shaped and built of coloured brick. Inside the door, on the left, a man lies buried whose gravestone reads Hafız Tuti'i Karamani and carries the year 1392. The mosque was repaired in 1878, when the roof was tiled, and again in the republican period, which is the state it is in now. It stands in the Orta quarter of Barla, in the Eğirdir district.
