Topuklu lies south of the district centre of Beyağaç at about 1,700 metres, known for the trees around it, its air and its cold springs. It suits day picnics and tent camping. From the hills on its western side the gulf of Gökova can be watched, and in summer the sunset over it.
The plateau is lit by solar power, and it has the capacity to host large gatherings. There is a restaurant, a bakery, a tandır pit and trout pools, along with grass football and volleyball pitches opened for visitors' use.
The infrastructure is finished: fountains, showers and lavatories. There is a children's playground, and it is possible to stay overnight in a timber cabin or a hair tent. The social facilities and the ground available are enough for two football teams to camp here at once.
A festival is held on the plateau each June, with oil wrestling, folk concerts and other performances.
