The bridge is hard to get to now: the provincial directorate notes it has been left far from the main road and from any settlement.
It carries the old Erciş-Tabriz caravan route over the Bend-i Mahi stream. There is no foundation inscription, but the directorate states it was built by the Ilkhanid rulers at the end of the thirteenth century.
Two-coloured dressed stonework shows on the arch and the walls. Rubble-built walling was added in places during later repairs.
